The first car should be a Plymouth. We have room for six Plymouths, so if you have more, let us know by email or pick your favorites.
See the bottom of this page for locations of serial, body, and engine numbers, and for explanations of body types. Engine numbers are 1928-59 only; serial and body number are optional.
Serial number: check for a tag on the door post (1930-1958), or a tag on the cowl under the hood (1959+); it can be on the door post or firewall on commercial vehicles.
Engine number: on a flat spot on the left side of the block (1928-59), the right side of the block (slant six), a pad between the No. 2 and No. 3 cylinders (early V8), or on the right side of the cylinder below the distributor, the left front face of the block, the right side of the block next to the water pump, or the rail on the side of the block above the oil pan (later V8).
Body number: on a tag on the floorboard near the driver’s seat (1928-29), a tag on the engine side of the firewall (1930-56), a tag on the upper cowl near the left hood hinge (1957+), or the door post or firewall (commercial vehciels).
The body style for 1928-52 coupes should be Business, Rumble Seat, or Club; otherwise, use Sedan, Coupe, Wagon, SUV, Pickup, etc. For 1932 sedans, list if you have the Form Fit Trunk. For 1935-39, specify flatback or humpback trunk. For 1949-52, list if fastback or two-door. For wagons, 1949-50, list if metal or wood body.
